Charlie has started school at Kamali'i Elementary, and so far he likes it, but not the food. Sam started school at the local middle school and didn't like it at all. So I have taken up home schooling now as well! Sam is 12 and a good self-learner, so after a week of researching, our homeschool is up and running. I always had the desire to homeschool.... We will be joining local homeschool groups for activities and clubs.
There is lots of wonderful places here to explore and check out. Doug has started work now, so we are back to just having the weekends for fun. But hopefully this weekend we will check out the north east part of the island. Last weekend we drove around the entire north west side, through crazy one lane dirt roads on huge cliffs . Glorious views, but a bit hair-raising!!
I have been busy with editing, editing, editing. Just like when I lived in Wisconsin! Hopefully soon all pictures that I took in Wi will be out to the clients and I can begin with Christmas card orders.
I have quite the tan now, I have to admit. In the last month we saw a total of 10 minutes of rain. Everyday is 85, low humidity, nice ocean breeze and sunny. I have to admit I will not miss the snow and bitter cold! On my next post I will post some family pictures. My photo albums are also available on www.lamajkrzak.photoreflect.com. Right now I only have the Molokai pictures up, but I will soon find time to get all the others up in Hawaii albums. So check back on my website.
We do like it here, but of course the very hard part is missing everybody we love. It is hardest with Sierra, Dylan, Mom and Dad. The kids get homesick for their friends and Hartford and the fallen leaves all over the ground. We miss all our friends so much. We want everybody to come and visit us!!!
I will blog soon....love, Lisa
